Sumter Coatings began its life in the fall of 1996.  With the purchase and closing of Southern Coatings / Pratt & Lambert, the employees saw a need to start a new company, thus, Sumter Coatings.  Sumter Coatings has a combined history and knowledge of over 300 years in the coatings industry.  We take great pride in listening to our customers and value each one as a partner. Sumter Coatings’ mission is to service the customer and formulate coatings to fit their needs.
